Our Objective:
1. To introduce Girl Scouting to girls in our church and community
2. To introduce girls to the presence and power of God
3. To empower girls to dream big and become caring, courageous young women that make the world a better place.
The Girl Scout Ministry at Allen Temple Baptist Church teaches girls the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, of God and the thrill of accomplishment. Our Brownies - Ambassadors make up our 5 levels of Girl Scouts here at Allen Temple. We participate in activities together and separately and are a very active troop. Through community service, earning badges and participating in troop, council and Church events, girls will grow in their faith, leadership, self-esteem, maturity and personal responsibility and ability and they’ll have lots of fun along the way!
