Retrieve voice messages on your Nextiva phone
To access voicemail from a Nextiva phone:
- From any Nextiva phone, dial 9999 or *86.
- At the greeting, press the star (*) key.
- Enter the voicemail PIN. If checking voicemail for the first time, enter the default PIN: 0000, followed by the # key. Change the PIN to a personalized 4-digit number.

Basic Extensions
The Basic Extension license allows voice messages to be recorded by the Nextiva System.
Voice messages are automatically sent to your allen-temple.org email associated with the account. You can also retrieve voice messages as follows.
To access voicemail from a non-Nextiva phone:
- From a non-Nextiva phone, dial the users phone number.
- At the greeting, press the star (*) key.
- Enter the voicemail PIN. If checking voicemail for the first time, enter the default PIN: 0000, followed by the # key. Change the PIN to a personalized 4-digit number.
